Creating Gradients In PowerPoint – How To

Creation

Here's a quick video showing you how to create gradients in PowerPoint. PowerPoint is something I use regularly, and I've taught myself to use. There's so much to do on PowerPoint that a lot of people don't know about, so I decided to create a few guides showing you all the secrets!

Gradients are something I love using when I make things on PowerPoint, so I thought I would show you exactly how to achieve them.

Instructions in the video are listed below:

  1. Start by making a shape.
  2. Select the shape and select ‘Shape Fill’ then hover the mouse over ‘Gradient’.
  3. Select an angle and select ‘More Gradients’. From here, you are able to edit the colours of your gradient.
  4. You can select a bar to move it around, delete it, or add another bar.

This object allows you to overlay multiple shapes in order to make one and includes lots of gradients to add to the realism so this can get massively confusing. Since this allows you to create lots of gradients here’s another post showing how to achieve them if you don’t know already: https://lifebloom.co.uk/creation/how-to-creating-gradients-in-powerpoint/ […]
