Found a certain cat on top of the car
This cheeky chap appears sometimes in our garden, but this time choosing to rule the world atop my Mum’s car. At this point, I believe he is genuinely unphased by anyone around him. No tap at the window or loud call will gain his attention. He’s too busy prowling around and scoffing at how ridiculous I look to care. Perfectly happy just pretending he owns the whole street. We should all aspire to be as unbothered as he is!
A lovely Saturday with my best friend Ellise
Starting the day strong with a trip to the almighty Designer Outlet! It simply never fails to make a perfect day out. Guaranteed to spend much more then you intended but also guaranteed to have good food – what more could you want?!
After completing the circuit around the shopping centre and securing the goods (well, Ellise did, I just watched on wishfully, refusing to purchase anything that came in my path) we decided to grab some lunch. Our chosen cuisine was El Mexicana, and that only meant one thing, my reliable naked burrito beckoned!
I’ve had this once before and have to say it’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The act of handpicking exactly what goes into your burrito is pure hearty joy and the ease of eating it out of a bowl and not an actual burrito pleases me greatly (those who know me will know I prefer to eat wrap-type-things without the wrap – yes, I’m a menace). The flavours that come through are divine and the portion size is enough to fill one up without being uncomfortable. Perfect.
This being the second time I’ve consumed such a delight, there was still room to be impressed! It didn’t disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed the second round. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I found myself at a loss for words with my friend sitting opposite me. I was so immersed in the wonderous flavours of my naked burrito that I forgot how to converse. Would recommend!
Visit to Coate Water
Next stop – Coate Water. Always offering gorgeous views and a good walk around the lake, I knew we couldn’t go wrong! The sun was beaming down on us, and I thought it best to make the most of it. I made sure to grab plenty of photos, including an extremely photogenic swan and a portion of cheesy chips we shared after the walk (apparently, we both had ginormous stomachs that day). We finished up our chips before ending our day with a browse at Orbital Shopping Park!
Meeting up with family
We drove into Bracknell to see some family on Sunday. We tend to meet up at Costa as it's convenient and the perfect place for a catch-up!
